Eat less to live better

One of her most inspiring practices remains her way of eating. Soong Mei-ling ate five small meals a day, always stopping when she was 70% full. Never an overly full stomach, never a feeling of heaviness. Just enough to stay light, energetic, and ready to go.
This approach, similar to the Japanese concept *hara hachi bu*, is now validated by many nutritionists as one of the keys to a balanced diet in the long term.
Taking care of oneself, with consistency and kindness, remains the most beautiful of inheritances.
