Her number one secret? Regularity. Madame Chiang went to bed every night at 11 p.m. and got up at 9 a.m. No short nights, no early morning wake-ups that left her chronically exhausted. She allowed herself a generous and restorative sleep, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Her morning always began with a large glass of fresh lemon water. Simple, effective, invigorating. A habit that many naturopaths still recommend today to gently kick-start the body.
She also devoted two hours a day to creative activities: reading, painting, writing. A ritual to nourish the mind as much as the body, and to keep her curiosity alive.
