And indeed! Most users respond badly without thinking twice. Some say that there are 0 eggs left, others that remain 4, others 2... but what is the correct answer?

Let’s see what happens in each action:
“I broke 2”
This does not mean that they disappear or that they cease to exist. They only broke, which is necessary to be able to cook them.
We still have 6 eggs left, but 2 are already broken.
“Fry 2
Of those you broke, you probably fried those same 2. They are not specified to be different eggs.
Here is the trick: breaking, frying and eating can refer to the same 2 eggs.Supermarkets
“I ate 2”
Again, you can assume that they are the same 2 that were broken and fried.
