Start by collecting or purchasing dried pinecones. If you collect them from outside, ensure they are clean and dry.

Pour a small amount of shimmer paint onto a palette or a disposable plate.

Using a paintbrush, apply shimmer paint to the crushed pinecone pieces. You can choose to fully coat them for a bold look or lightly brush them for a more subtle shimmer.
