Ingredients for the apple-vanilla fondant cake

The basic list

  • 3 small, red, melting apples (Gala or Golden type)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 75 g melted butter
  • 75 ml of milk
  • 150 g of flour
  • 75 g of sugar (adjust according to the acidity of the apples)
  • ⅓ sachet of baking powder
  • 1 vanilla pod (seeds scraped)

  • Lighter version  : Replace half the butter with unsweetened applesauce.
