A Simple Trick to Clean Your Oven Door Glass

  • In a small bowl, mix baking soda and vinegar to form a thick, spreadable paste (like toothpaste).
  • Add a drop of dish soap if your oven has heavy grease buildup.

3. Apply Generously

  • Spread the paste evenly over the entire inside surface of the oven door glass.
  • Focus on thick, browned areas—don’t skimp!

4. Let It Sit

  • Wait 15–20 minutes (for light grime) or up to 1 hour (for heavy buildup).
  • Do not let it dry completely—re-wet with a spray of vinegar or water if it starts to crack.

5. Wipe Clean

  • Use a damp microfiber cloth or non-scratch sponge to wipe away the paste.
  • For stubborn spots, gently use a plastic razor blade or credit card edge to lift residue—never metal, which can scratch glass.

6. Final Shine

  • Spray with vinegar or water, then buff dry with a clean microfiber cloth for streak-free clarity.
